Our Company operates in a number of processing plants in Northern and Middle Greece in the vicinity of the most renowned quarries. Our experience and strong commitment in the field draws from our long engagement for more than 30 years in both processing and in marble quarrying.

Specifically, our activities include processing and disposal – exports of the final product in Greece as well as in the international market.

In order to optimize the usage of human and raw material resources, in 2013 the Management decided to expand its activities by establishing two additional processing plants in Northern Greece.

To that extent, we achieved economies of scale mainly due to our close proximity to marble quarries, a fact that helped us to be more efficient and effective for our clients.

During 2013, besides the unstable economic environment, our Company decided to expand its activities by deploying two more processing plants under in Northern Greece.

Philosophy - Objectives

Matratek’s basic principle is to investigate for new investment opportunities in the field of marbles in order to be competitive and to acquire deep knowledge and experience of the specific market. The objective of Metratek is the continuous training of human resources and the renewal of machinery in order to provide high level services to our domestic and international clients.
